'Sol negro / Black sun' is the catalogue of a major exhibition at Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City. The book shows the photographs of 12 Latin Ameri- can women in its mid career. The discourse of the book is woven from the dark side of life, the side that faces personal and collective tragedies: loneliness, discrimination, violence, struggle... 'Black Sun' includes the work by Adriana Lestido, Luz María Bedoya, Johanna Calle, Helen Zout, Clau- dia Donoso, Rosa Gauditano, Leonora Vicuña, Carla Rippey, Carolina Cárdenas, Milagros de la Torre, Paz Errázuriz, Rosario López.
