Erotish 2 emerges as the continuation of Julia & Vincent’s first opus, Erotish, expanding their universe inspired by the aesthetics of the 90’s/00’s. This new chapter pushes their exploration of contemporary eroticism further by asking a simple question: what feels erotic today ? Darker in tone and more contrasted in vision, Julia & Vincent juxtapose glamorous details with subjects that may seem mundane or unsettling at first glance. Everyday gestures such as brushing teeth, boilling water, or wearing a cast are reimagined and transformed into images charged with desire and fantasy.Throughout the series, beauty collides with decay, reflecting the contradictions of the world around them. The result is a vision that feels both playful and disenchanted, a glossy surface hiding darker undertones where glamour meets fragility and eroticism flirts with the ordinary.
