The BARON Book Prize is an annual prize, which recognises book projects from emerging artists and image-makers who have created projects investigating gender, sex, sexuality and identity politics. 

​

The prize is open to artists and image-makers working in any medium, from anywhere in the world, over the age of 18, are invited to apply. The winner will receive the opportunity to work with BARON in publishing their book project.
 

 The first BARON BOOK PRIZE was judged by a transnational panel including Rut Blees Luxemburg, Mohammad Al-Hasani, Stephen Male and Cinsy Tam.

 The second edition of the BARON BOOK PRIZE is open to artists, filmmakers, photographers working in any medium and from anywhere in the world, over the age of 18 are invited to apply for the 2022 edition in August 2022. The winner will be announced in December 2022.
